Job description
HVAC Design Engineer, based near Redditch, salary c£30-40kTHE ROLE
* From specifications and drawings, you'll be designing a technical solution for customer projects.
* Sizing calculations and selections of equipment & components.
* Assist with developing a bill of materials to create a proposal and quotation.
* Creating 2D CAD models and drawings for manufacturing.
* Assisting with site visits and surveys as required.
THE PERSON
* Previous HVAC experience in a project design led role, applications engineer, estimator or CAD Engineer.
* Applications also invited from young engineers with a strong mechanical background from a degree or HNC.
* Understanding and knowledge of mechanical building services, specifically airflow & heating/cooling system design.
* Able user of CAD software and ability to use excel for design formula.
* Clean driving licence preferred, to attend site visits or surveys.
THE PACKAGE
Basic salary in the c£30-40k bracket, depending on background, experience and relevant career background.
Annual Company bonus paid out on profits.
THE LOCATION
Ideally you'll be located near to the Redditch area.
