Job description
Internal Sales Engineer required in CardiffAir Conditioning/Refrigeration background required
Salary in the c£25-28k bracket.
THE ROLE
* Working within branch to ensure customers receive the correct products and equipment for their Air Conditioning projects.
Duties include:
- Responding to customers and providing quotations for A/C and refrigeration equipment.
- Reaching out to potential customers (A/C installers) via phone calls and email promotions to help grow the A/C division within the branch.
- Stock control
- Purchasing
- Assisting with trade counter enquiries
THE PERSON
* A background and technical understanding of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment and spares required.
* Willingness to be pro-active and develop the branch's customer base through targeted business development, telephone sales and promotions.
* Knowledge and contacts of A/C contractor customers in Cardiff, Swansea and surrounding towns would be very helpful but not essential.
* Excellent customer service skills required, as this is a client facing role in branch, plus a good telephone manner to liaise and negotiate with customers. Occasional visits to customers required in addition.
* Good level of IT skills required to produce quotations and reports.
* Applications invited from internal sales engineers, counter staff or engineers looking to move off the tools.
THE PACKAGE
A basic salary in the £25-28k bracket.
This may be negotiable if you fit all the criteria.
Bonus to be discussed.
THE LOCATION
Based in the Cardiff branch. Applicants will ideally be within a commutable distance, with the office on the outskirts of the city.
