Job description

Sales Engineer required for a leading Air Conditioning manufacturer in the Birmingham area, basic to £55K and bonus. 

THE COMPANY
This company is a market leader in their niche field in Air Conditioing and are widely regarded as having the best quality products in their field. 
As the company has such a great reputation, this generates alot of leads, so customers approach them as experts in their field and so the Sales Engineers role is more about reacting to inquiries. 

THE ROLE
The Sales Engineer's role is to assess a wide variety of applications for a niche range of air conditioning products. 
This is a cradle to grave role where you'll get the inquiry and often go to site to get the info to do selection and then follow up the contractors with the quotations. 
The role will involve CPDs and presentations. 
The main customer groups are Consultants, Contractors, FM's and End Users.  

THE PERSON
As this is a relatively technical role, it would suit someone with a background in air conditioning or refrigeration. You could also have worked in the domestic heat pump sector, as long as you're used to doing selections. 
In terms of roles, you could have been a Sales Engineer or an Application Engineer or an Internal Sales Engineer or a Project Engineer

A good basic to £55K depending on experience
A bonus up to £8K depending on performance

Ideally based in Birmingham, Coventry, Derby, Burton on Trent, Wolverhampton to cover the Midlands, Cardiff and Bristol.
