Senior Mechanical Design Engineer required in product and R&D, based Leeds.
c£40-48k+excellent benefits.

THE ROLE
* As a Senior and Lead Engineer, you'll play a vital role within the product development team, with the responsibility of driving development and design of new HVAC products.
* Taking a project from initial concept, all the way through design, manufacture and product launch.
* Carrying out unit and component design, engineering calculations, product selections and creating 3D models/layout drawings.
* Liaising with suppliers and manufacturing to draw up a project program and deliver to cost targets.
* Leading and developing a small team, with the prospect of further management opportunities in the future.
THE PERSON
* You'll be degree qualified in a Mechanical Engineering or related subject.
* Experience of mechanical design using 2D and 3D CAD software.
* A strong understanding & proven track record of working with HVAC products is required.
* Previous experience of managing a team or mentoring junior engineers is desirable.
THE PACKAGE
A basic salary in the c£40-48k bracket, pending on track record and experience.
